Are your greenhouses adapted to the Norwegian climate?

Yes. Our greenhouses are developed for Nordic conditions with strong aluminum profiles, tempered safety glass or UV-protected polycarbonate sheets, depending on the model. The Premium series comes with up to a 15-year storm warranty and is designed for wind speeds of up to 38 m/s when properly installed and anchored.

What is included when I buy a greenhouse?

All our greenhouses are delivered complete with frame, glass or polycarbonate roof, doors, roof hatches and galvanized base if this is specified on the relevant model. Any additional equipment such as automatic hatch openers, shelves and other accessories can be ordered additionally.

Does the greenhouse need to stand on a foundation?

Yes. A stable and level foundation is necessary for safe installation and long service life. The most common solutions are concrete slab, concrete or Leca ring wall, wooden decking or a strong impregnated wooden base. The greenhouse should always be firmly anchored to the foundation.

Are the greenhouses completely watertight?

No. All traditional greenhouses are constructed with natural ventilation and will therefore not be 100% waterproof. In case of strong winds and driving rain, minor water ingress may occur. This is normal for this type of construction and is not considered a product defect.

Can I use the greenhouse as a garden shed?

Our greenhouses are primarily designed for cultivation. Many people also use them as a pleasant patio for much of the year, but they are not insulated buildings and are therefore not intended as year-round garden sheds.

Which foundation do you recommend?

We recommend a cast concrete slab or a ring wall if you want the most solid solution. Many customers also choose a strong terrace or impregnated wooden base. The most important thing is that the foundation is stable, level and well anchored.

What is the difference between tempered glass and polycarbonate?

Tempered glass provides an exclusive look, maximum clarity and a very long service life. Polycarbonate insulates better, is lighter and can withstand hard impacts very well. Both solutions work well – the choice depends on the properties you want.

How much maintenance does a greenhouse require?

A greenhouse requires minimal maintenance. We recommend washing the glass and profiles once or twice a year, checking screws when necessary and keeping gutters free of leaves and dirt.

Can the greenhouse be left outside all winter?

Yes. The greenhouses are designed for year-round outdoor use. In the event of heavy snowfall, we recommend removing heavy snow from the roof to reduce the load, especially if the snowfall becomes abnormally large.

Do I need automatic hatch openers?

It is not necessary, but they are among our most popular additional products. They open and close the roof hatches automatically according to the temperature, which provides a better climate for the plants and less need for daily monitoring.

Can I assemble the greenhouse myself?

Yes. Many customers assemble the greenhouse themselves using the included assembly instructions. We recommend that two people carry out the assembly together. If you want help, we can also arrange assembly in large parts of Norway.

How long does the assembly take?

The assembly time varies depending on size and experience, but most take between one and three days. Good planning and a ready foundation make the assembly considerably easier.

Does aluminum rust?

No. The aluminum profiles do not rust. Some models are supplied with a galvanized steel base. If the galvanization is damaged or cut, surface rust may occur in these areas over time. This does not normally affect the strength.

How long does a greenhouse last?

A quality aluminum greenhouse can last for decades with normal maintenance. Tempered safety glass and solid aluminum profiles provide a very long service life.

What size should I choose?

We always recommend buying a little larger than you think you need. Most customers find that the greenhouse fills up faster than expected. For many families, a greenhouse between 10 and 15 m² is a good choice.

Can I grow vegetables all year round?

It depends on what you want to grow and where in the country you live. Our greenhouses are uninsulated and are primarily designed to extend the growing season from early spring to late autumn. During the winter months, most plants will require both heating and additional plant lighting in order to grow. For the vast majority of people, the greenhouse will therefore be most suitable for growing throughout the spring, summer and autumn seasons.

Why does condensation form inside the greenhouse?

Condensation occurs when warm, moist air meets cold surfaces. This is completely normal and shows that the greenhouse is holding heat and humidity well. Good ventilation helps reduce condensation.

Do you deliver all over Norway?

Yes. We deliver greenhouses to all over Norway through our transport partners. The shipping price is calculated based on the zip code and the size of the greenhouse.

What warranty do I get?

The warranty varies from model to model. Several of our Premium greenhouses come with up to a 15-year storm warranty when properly installed and anchored. See the individual product page for warranty details.
