15-year storm and part warranty on Premium greenhouses

Our Premium greenhouses come with a 15-year storm and part warranty, which ensures safety and quality for our customers.

1. Storm Warranty – Up to 38 m/s

• What the warranty covers:
• Greenhouses that blow away or collapse as a result of winds up to 38 m/s.
• Fasadenor, through our manufacturer/supplier, assesses the extent of the damage and replaces damaged parts or the entire greenhouse.
• Conditions:
• The greenhouse must be correctly anchored to a solid foundation, such as a ring wall, slabs or concrete.

2. Parts Warranty – 15 years

• What the warranty covers:
• Aluminum.
• Damage or defects to parts upon delivery will be replaced free of charge.
• Conditions:
• Any damage or defects must be reported immediately after delivery.

3. Delivery and spare parts

• We stock all glass and parts for our models, but some parts may have a longer delivery time when ordered from the factory.
• The warranty ensures that you always receive a functioning and complete greenhouse.

4. Customer responsibilities

• Take photos of the greenhouse after assembly to document correct installation.
• This simplifies the processing of any warranty claims or disputes.

Warranty Conditions for Premium Greenhouses – Snow Load

We offer a guarantee that our Premium Series greenhouses can withstand a maximum snow load of 60 kg per square meter, provided that the following conditions are met:
1. Warranty Terms

1. Applies to:

• Premium Series Greenhouses purchased from our online store or authorized dealers.
• Conditions where the snow load does not exceed 60 kg/m² as specified in the product documentation.

2. Validity Period:

• The warranty is valid for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase.

3. Conditions:

The warranty is valid if the greenhouse is:

• Installed correctly according to the installation instructions.
• Secure with the recommended foundation
• Used in areas where the snow load does not exceed 60 kg/m², based on local weather conditions.

2. Warranty limitations

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from incorrect installation or lack of maintenance.
• Loads exceeding 60 kg/m² due to:
• Extreme weather conditions (e.g. heavy snowfall or ice formations).
• Neglecting snow removal from the greenhouse roof.
• Changes or modifications to the greenhouse that are not approved by the manufacturer.
• Damage resulting from third-party installation that does not follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

3. Customer responsibilities

• The customer is responsible for regular maintenance and removal of snow from the greenhouse roof to avoid accumulation exceeding 60 kg/m². In any case, we recommend that our customers secure the greenhouse by reinforcing the ridge profile and shoveling regularly. Possibly use some heat inside in the winter.
• The customer must follow all instructions that come with the product, including recommended use and storage.

4. What the warranty covers

With a valid warranty, we will at our discretion:

• Repair the greenhouse at no cost to the customer.
• Replace defective parts or the entire greenhouse.
• Offer a full or partial refund if repair or replacement is not possible.

To claim under the warranty, the following documentation must be sent to us:

• Copy of purchase receipt.
• Photos of the damage.
• Description of how the damage occurred.

Hobby series greenhouses from Fasadenor (Own guarantee)

Warranty for Hobby greenhouses from Fasadenor.no
The greenhouses come with a 5 year factory warranty that covers wear and tear on aluminum, screws, rust and any manufacturing or factory defects. The warranty ensures that the products are made to withstand Nordic conditions for a minimum of 5 years, with a focus on quality and durability.

• No storm guarantee on the greenhouses from the Hobby series

No guarantee on water leaks and condensation.

Do you dream of having a glass house in your garden? Do you want to use your greenhouse as a gazebo or a garden room? It is entirely possible to do this, but it is important to remember that the interior design should be adapted to the climate inside the greenhouse and the conditions there. Greenhouses are not waterproof structures, and there is no guarantee of water leaks on the greenhouses. Therefore, you should use materials and furniture that can withstand moisture, condensation and temperature fluctuations.

Fasadenor recommends that you use furniture that can withstand outdoor environments in their greenhouses and uninsulated garden rooms. You must remember that greenhouses are also not insulated structures, so dew and moisture will occur. Water and condensation can occur in greenhouses, and it is important to remember to grout the roof with plenty of grout when installing the various models. Water can get under the rubber strips and in the joints between the glass and profiles when it rains or snows. Plants and watering also contribute to dew and condensation. Good ventilation such as automatic window openers or fans reduces condensation in greenhouses so that you get drier air.

If you need help with assembly, Fasadenor collaborates with the assembly company Drivhusgutta AS. They can assist you if needed, and you can agree directly with them about the price and date for setup. If you want to assemble the greenhouse yourself, you can always contact Fasadenor’s greenhouse salespeople for help and tips before and during assembly. They can help you as best they can via phone and email during their opening hours. It is important to have clear questions and preferably pictures in advance for an easier dialogue about explaining the problem with customer service.

Many of Fasadenor.no’s customers want to assemble their greenhouses themselves. This can be a fun task, but it can also be challenging for some. The assembly instructions that come with the greenhouses are, however, good and easy to understand, with pictures that explain the different steps.
