HOW TO USE AN OZONE MACHINE
- Plug the device into a power outlet and place it in the area you want to treat. Leave it unobstructed. That is, make sure nothing blocks the front or back of the unit.
- Set the timer to the desired time.
- Ozone is irritating to breathe during treatment and can be very harmful, so close all doors and windows and let the machine run.
- After the treatment time is over, ventilate thoroughly by keeping all doors wide open for 60 minutes so the ozone dissipates and converts back to oxygen.
- The number of treatment cycles depends on the severity of the odor, but it is more effective to run the unit in waves/cycles rather than continuously for long periods (never more than 4 hours at a time).
- There are several strengths and types of ozone machines on the market. The power you need depends on the size of the area you want to treat. There are many theories about what size machine you need for different uses. We believe the following:

The ozone machine can in principle remove all types of odors in rooms up to 1,000 m² (2.24 m³/min). The machine produces O3 (ozone), which is a naturally occurring substance and very effective at breaking down odors caused by pollution.
The smell you notice in the air right after it has rained in autumn—the slightly electrical and completely fresh air—is ozone. It occurs naturally in nature and binds to molecules that cause bad odors. An ozone generator produces ozone gas that breaks these down and gives you this fresh air permanently. For use in cars:
Close all the windows and doors, place my machine in the car and set the timer for 60 minutes. If necessary, clean the air conditioning, start the car, switch on recirculation and set the timer for 60 minutes.
After finishing the treatment, leave the doors open for at least 60 minutes, for a 60-minute treatment. Ozone breaks down quickly, and the remaining ozone smell quickly disappears by itself. The whole process is recommended to be carried out outdoors, and for best results it is recommended to combine it with thorough vacuuming and general washing of the interior.
For residential use:
Best results are achieved in smaller rooms, but can treat larger premises. Do not leave plants, pets or anything else in the room during treatment, as ozone gas in high concentrations is toxic. Set the timer for 60 minutes and leave the house. Allow the ozone to break down for at least 60 minutes before returning to the room/home.
To achieve maximum effect, set the heat as high as possible before the treatment. The warmer it is in the room, the deeper the ozone goes and the more effective the treatment.
Security:
When using an ozone machine in a car or a room where there are no people, the generators must be switched off at least 60 minutes before entering the room, while the room is ventilated. The device has a timer and switches off automatically. Allow the ozone to break down before staying in the room. If the room is very exposed to ozone, it may be necessary to wait at least 180 minutes. Never breathe in air directly from the ozone generator or at the ozone outlet pipe. The ozone generator may only be used by persons who know the necessary precautions. If a room is intended for overexposure to ozone or shockozonization, information that the room contains ozone gas should be placed on the door. Please hang this label on the door and clearly indicate that ozone treatment is in progress. In some rare cases, ozone can react with rubber, such as gaskets or other rubber. This is not common, but can weaken the rubber and cause cracks. It is recommended to take this into account and check with the supplier before using the machine. If there is a risk that some rubber may weaken, it is recommended to run shorter treatments, or no treatments at all.
