HOW TO USE AN OZONE MACHINE
- Connect the device to a power outlet and place it in the area you want to treat. Leave it unobstructed. That is, make sure nothing blocks the front or back of the unit.
- Set the timer to the desired time.
- Ozone is irritating to breathe during treatment and can be very harmful, so close all doors and windows and let the machine run.
- After the treatment time is over, ventilate thoroughly with all doors wide open for 60 minutes so that the ozone dissipates and converts back into oxygen.
- The number of treatment cycles depends on the severity of the odor, but it is more effective to run the unit in waves/cycles rather than continuously for long periods (never more than 4 hours at a time).
- There are several strengths and types of ozone machines on the market. The power you need depends on the size of the area you want to treat. There are many theories about what size machine you need for different uses. We recommend the following:

The ozone machine can, in principle, remove all types of odors in rooms up to 1,000 m² (2.24 m³/min).
The machine produces O3 (ozone), which is a naturally occurring substance and highly effective at breaking down odors caused by pollution.
The smell you notice in the air right after it rains in autumn—the slightly electric and completely clean air—is ozone. It occurs naturally in nature and binds to molecules that cause unpleasant odors. An ozone generator produces ozone gas that breaks down these molecules and gives you this fresh air permanently. For use in a car:
Close all windows and doors, place the machine in the middle of the car and set the timer to 60 minutes. If you want to clean the air conditioning system, start the car, turn on the recirculation mode and set the timer to 60 minutes.
After completing the treatment, leave the doors open for at least 60 minutes, for a 60-minute treatment. Ozone breaks down quickly, and the remaining smell of ozone quickly disappears on its own. The entire process is recommended to be done outdoors, and for best results, it is recommended to combine it with careful vacuuming and general washing of the interior.
For use in a home:
Best results are obtained in smaller rooms, but can treat larger premises. Do not leave plants, pets or anything else in the room during treatment, as ozone gas in high concentrations is toxic. Set the timer to 60 minutes and leave the home. Let the ozone break down for at least 60 minutes before returning to the room/home.
To achieve maximum effect, set the heat as high as possible before treatment. The warmer the room, the deeper the ozone penetrates, and the more effective the treatment will be.
Safety:
When using an ozone machine in a car or room where there are no people, the generators must be turned off at least 60 minutes before entering the room, while the room is ventilated. The unit has a timer and will turn off automatically. Let the ozone break down before spending time in the room. If the room is very overexposed to ozone, it may be necessary to wait at least 180 minutes. Never breathe air directly from the ozone generator or at the ozone discharge pipe. The ozone generator must only be used by people who know the necessary precautions. If a room is intended for overexposure to ozone or shock ozonization, information that the room contains ozone gas should be placed on the door. Feel free to hang this label on the door, and clearly note that ozone treatment is taking place. In some rare cases, ozone can react with rubber, such as gaskets or other rubber. This is not common, but can weaken the rubber and cause cracks. It is recommended to take this into account and check with the supplier before using the machine. If there is a risk that some rubber may be weakened, it is recommended to run shorter treatments, or no treatments at all.
