Wind sensor for motorized awning

Wind sensor for motorized awning – automatic protection in case of strong wind

Protect the awning against sudden gusts of wind and unnecessary strain with a smart wind sensor for motorized awnings. The sensor monitors the wind conditions and communicates wirelessly with the awning’s motor. When the wind exceeds the set level, the sensor signals that the awning should be retracted automatically.

The wind sensor fits all motorized semi-cassette and full-cassette awnings offered by Fasadenor.no, and is a recommended accessory for those who want extra security and automatic protection of the awning.

Automatic protection when the weather changes

The weather can change quickly, and an extended awning can be exposed to great forces in strong gusts of wind. With a wind sensor, you do not need to be present to retract the awning manually. The sensor registers wind and automatically sends a signal to the engine when the limit value is exceeded.

This reduces the risk of strain and damage to the awning fabric, arms, attachment and the construction itself.

Advantages:

• Automatic closing of the awning in case of strong wind
• Wireless communication with the awning motor
• Fits both semi-cassette and full-cassette
• Compatible with all motorized awning models from Fasadenor.no
• Contributes to a longer lifespan of the awning
• Reduces the risk of wind damage
• Practical when you are not at home
• Discreet installation and easy to use

Wind and sun sensor

The sensor can register both wind and sun, so that the motorized awning can be controlled more automatically according to the weather conditions. In the case of strong winds, safety is prioritized by retracting the awning.

Important: The sensor can only control awnings with a compatible motor. It cannot retract a manual awning without a motor. A wind sensor is an additional safety measure and does not replace normal caution in strong winds or extreme weather.

Suitable for: Motorized semi-cassette awnings and full cassette awnings from Fasadenor.no.
